Lehigh Valley Chess Club

Our Chess Club has Chess Quads and/or Swiss Chess tournaments weekly, 1 pm most Saturday's at College Hill Moravian Church, 72 W. Laurel St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Also, Quads most Saturday's 2 pm to 6:15 pm. Also, 8 rounds of Game 5 Blitz Friday's 6:30 pm to 9 pm (and 9-11 pm with adequate entries) . The Friday's Chess club is currently held at another location in Allentown at St Timothy's Lutheran Church, 140 So. Ott St, Allentown, Pa 18104 where the Game 5 Blitz Chess is played. Club locations are Closed some days for NCC Horizons For Youth Spring Scholastic, Closed Friday's some year's in observance of Good Friday Services. Also, have been closed some President's Day Weekend's for US Amateur Team East events. See www.lehighvalleychessclub.org for current Schedule. As one of the most active USCF affiliates we have hosted1395 USCF events and growing as of 7/31 over just under 11 years, we have won the Garden State Chess League 3 of the 5 years we have participated, and won place awards, Top Team from Pa(4x) and Top Team U2000 in 2013, 5 of the last 9 years at the US Amateur Team East Chess Tournaments thru 2018. Our youth have won many, many grade level Pa State Championship Trophies and host the current 2018 Pa State K-12 Scholastic Co-Champion, Tanishq Iyer.
